Each player gets 6 cards; the rest form the deck, with the bottom card face up as trump.
A trump card beats any non-trump card, regardless of rank.
The attacker leads a card; other players may throw in cards of matching rank.
The defender beats each card with a higher card of the same suit or any trump.
In transfer mode, the defender can pass the attack on by matching the first card's rank.
Run out of cards first to be safe — the last player still holding cards is the fool.
